Similar to previous years, and if you consider that some of the cases that you have presented in your center can be adapted to the meeting’s format, we would like you to send it to us. The complications that have appeared have to be adequately documented and also have a clear teaching or clinical interest. (The most important cases are complications with complex solutions or could not be solved).


The selected case has to be accompanied with a brief clinical summary of the patient, the complete CD and a description of the sequence as well as the produced technical aspects. The cases’ installation for the presentation will be made by us along with the session moderator and each case presenter so that they can be developed in the most important and dynamic way possible.

We suggest the new following list of complications:
  1. Vascular complications:  either in the vascular or the preferred vascular territory
  2. Complications related to contrasts.
  3. Complications related to anticoagulant/ antiplatelet treatment
  4. Complications on a coronary level:
    • Dissections, spasms, Perforations
    • acute Occlusion / subacute occlusion
    • Bifurcations / lateral branches
    • Complications in coronary flow: No reflow, embolism
    • Complications related to stents: Inadequate stent expansion, thrombosis.
  5. Complications related to percutaneous aortic valve implantation
    • Complications in aorta (descending aortic arch, ascending)
    • Complications of aortic annulus
    • Valvular insufficiency
    • Immediate/ deferred AV block. Need for Pacemaker
    • Complications developments (endocarditis, restenosis ..)
    • Other complications
  6. Complications related to percutaneous treatment of other structural heart disease:
    • Closure of CIA / FOP / CIV / Ductus / Leaks
